THE BLESSINGS OF TRAVEL

May 11, 2011-I was able to read Patty Laurel' blog today and I was really inspired with her 27 travel destinations on her 27th year of existence. How I wish I had that achievement also. I particularly admire the point says that you don't have to be rich to travel. Savings for travel is the key. "Gusto ko yung idea nya na dapat yung place na napuntahan mo is at par sa edad". Parang ito rin yung nabasa ko sa lotus notes na ang salary mo should be 4 times at your age.

2011 had been a travel year for me. For the last 5 mos., I was able to reached various destination in the Phils. (although not so much of those who have a travel enthusiast). This year I have been lucky enough to have the money and time to go into diverse places in the Phils.

Here are some of the places I went from Jan. to May this 2011:


JANUARY:

"BORACAY" ( Jan. 27-30)
 Who would have thought that I would be experiencing the white at this point of my life. It was really indeed a big blessing to start this year with this huge escapade. I was with Jacky and family plus Love and Karen during our 3 days and 2 nights stay at Bora. It was a bit long leave out of work for me to enjoy the place. We left Manila around 12 noon ridin in Zest Air airbus (thanks to promo-it was a bit inexpensive trip); 'Twas actually my first time to ride in a place and I can feel what they actually sayin that there's this pressure (thanks to chewing gum) and the fond of watching the clouds, we were able to succumb the pressure and motion sickness. We stayed not in a hotel but in a good transient house. On the 1st day, we were just finding our place because the former house spent last 2010 by Karen and co. were quite expensive. Then we had a house for P6k in 3 days. On the first evening, we were just having a tour and henna tattoo photoshoot. The next day, we had the island tour at am (see Pacquia's resort and Gloria as well) and snorkling. Lunch on the other island. Then we went to PUKA BEACH (bought bracelets for pasalubong). On our way back to our place ridin in a trike, we bought the super sarap fruit Juice (Jonah's Mango juice)//Goin back to Talipapa, we bought our pasalubong and I bought shirt and sarong. At night, we watched ,firedancing. On the last day, swam for the last time and then back to MANILA
